"Nice having somewhere open when I actually need it"
Pretty good overall, honestly. I like that Angling Direct has opening times that actually work around, well, normal life. I can usually pop in after work or nip in on the weekend before heading out fishing, which saves that mad rush around trying to get bits last minute. I mean, it’s not perfect every time, especially if your local shop closes a bit earlier than you were hoping, but still… compared to a lot of places, it’s really handy

"Good spot for tackle"
Stopped in for some fishing tackle and they had a solid range. I found most of what I needed without much hassle, if they’re stocked like this on a normal visit, I’d say it’s a good place to check first.

"I went in having no clue what rod..."
I went in having no clue what rod setup I needed, and the guy there took the time to talk me through everything without making me feel silly. He sorted me out with the right bits and even gave me a few tips on local spots to try. Great service overall. I’d definitely go back, and after taking the time to share my experience, I’d appreciate a little goodwill or voucher if that’s something they offer.

The loyalty points take forever to build up, and when you finally get enough, the rewards just feel kinda disappointing. Like, I Wanted to be excited about it, but it doesn’t really seem worth the effort...

"Decent returns process, but not exactly speedy"
I had to send a reel back because it wasn’t quite what I was after. The returns form was simple enough to fill out, which was nice, and the refund showed up after about a week. Not exactly lightning fast, but apparently that’s just how these things go. To be fair, they did keep me updated, so I can’t really complain too much. I’d probably use them again, though a slightly quicker refund wouldn’t hurt

I ordered a reel from Angling Direct and, to be fair, the product info was mostly bang on. The size, weight and line capacity all matched what arrived, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I did end up checking one spec on another site because it wasn’t quite as clear as it could’ve been, but that was only a small thing. Overall, I’m happy with the order and I’d use them again.

"Easy to find and park"
I popped into Angling Direct and it was really easy to find. The parking was right outside which made things so much easier as I didn’t have to carry anything far. Getting around the store was simple too with plenty of space. Just a nice straightforward trip.

"Packed well and arrived just fine"
My order showed up nicely packed and everything was in good shape, so I can’t really complain. The box did seem a bit bigger than it needed to be, but i’d rather that than have something turn up damaged. Overall it was an easy, no-fuss experience and I’d use them again.

I only popped in for a quick look, so I didn’t see everything, but it was a nice shop to wander around. The layout was easy enough to follow and it had a relaxed feel. A few areas seemed a bit cramped, but overall it was a pleasant place to browse.

I used the click and collect at Angling Direct and it was really handy. I ordered a few bits online in the morning and got the email not long after saying it was ready.
I popped in after work, gave my name and they had everything there waiting, well, not everything, I mean everything I’d ordered. No messing about or wandering around trying to find things. I’ll definitely use it again

"Ordered a new rod and a…"
Ordered a new rod and a few bits of tackle from Angling Direct i’ve got a really good feeling about the whole lot. The rod just feels proper in the hand, solid without being awkward, and the finish is nice too. The smaller bits were decent as well, not that flimsy cheap-looking stuff you sometimes end up with online. Took everything down to the bank and used it already, and it all held up without any messing about. Hard to explain, but it just felt like good gear. I’m happy with what I paid and I’d definitely use them again.

"Worth a look, but I usually compare prices first"
I popped onto Angling Direct the other week because I needed a few bits for a weekend fishing trip, nothing major, just the usual odds and ends you suddenly realise you’re missing. I’ve used them a few times before and they’re generally decent, especially when they’ve got a good deal on. That said, I’ve also had moments where I’ve checked the same item somewhere else and found it cheaper. So for me, they’re alright and I still buy from them now and then, but I’ve learned it’s worth having a quick look around before hitting checkout.

"Bit slower than I hoped"
Ordered a few bits for the weekend and yeah, delivery took a bit longer than I was expecting. It did turn up fine in the end, nothing wrong with the order, just arrived a little late. Not a disaster or anything, but would be nicer if it was a bit quicker

"Sorted in the end, with one small mix-up"
In the end, it wasn’t a big deal, but it was a bit annoying. My order from Angling Direct arrived fine overall, and most of the items were exactly as expected. The only issue was that one item wasn’t the size I’d picked. Everything else was okay, so not a disaster, just a slight hassle...
